In the previous post we had discussed GoldenGate 23ai Data Replication deployments.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate 23ai
In addition there are also two other deployments available: Data Transforms and Stream Analytics.
Data Transform deployments can connect to a large variety of applications as data sources and additionally transform and load data it into star schemas, message files, or other data stores as shown in the image below.

In this post we will outline how to create the new Data Transforms deployment via OCI GoldenGate 23ai.
Create a Data Transforms Deployment

Create a SSH Port Forwarding Session via OCI Bastion
Provide the Private IP address of the Data Transform deployment and the contents of our private key which we will use to create a SSH port forwarding session.

Connect to Oracle Data Transforms
Note the URL :
https://localhost:4443/oracle-data-transforms
The HTTPS port is actually 443. Our SSH port forwarding session is using 4443 port.
Connect as the SUPERVISOR user. The password will be what was configured as the password secret in the vault. Refer to the earlier post where we have configured the Vault and Password Secret.

Create connection to Oracle OCI Autonomous Database
We will create a connection for the HR user in the Autonomous Database adb19c.
Upload the wallet for the Autonomous database and select the appropriate service to connect to the Autonomous database.

In the next post, we will use the above connection to load data between two Oracle OCI Autonomous Databases using Oracle Data Transforms available now in OCI GoldenGate Cloud Service!
