In the previous post we had seen how to create and configure a GoldenGate 23ai Data Transforms deployment.
https://gavinsoorma.com.au/knowledge-base/goldengate-23ai-data-transforms/
In this post we will see how we can use the new Data Transforms 23ai type deployment to load data between two Oracle OCI Autonomous Databases.
Example
View the connections to the source and target Oracle Autonomous databases.
- Source Database: ADBGAV
- Target Database: ADWGAV
Connections have been configured using the ADMIN user.

Test connection to the source database.

Test connection to the target database.

Create a project to load data from source to target database.

Create a Data Load job to load two tables from source (SH.CUSTOMERS, SH.PRODUCTS) to target (SH_COPY.CUSTOMERS, SH_COPY.PRODUCTS).

The target tables will be truncated as part of the Data Load job.

The Data Load job is configured to use the target connection (ADWGAV) and target schema (SH_COPY).

Click on the green arrow to execute the job.
The Data Load job is now running and we cab monitor the progress.

We can see that the Data Load job has now succeeded.
Click on the Show Details link to view the details of the job execution.

We can see that the following number of rows have been successfully loaded in the target database SH_COPY schema:
- CUSTOMERS: 55500
- PRODUCTS: 72
